1-1/2" (40mm) 6ft 6in Flexible Hose
1001E40 00 04
Transair Flexible Hoses are engineered for easy installation in tight spaces. Due to the tight bend radius, a flexible hose can be installed in tight, close quarter areas. The use of a flexible hose can eliminate most layout constraints and reduce the mechanical stress on a compressed air system. These hoses are commonly used to route the compressed air line around an obstacle, preventing pressure drop that comes from excessive use of elbows. All flexible hoses come in fixed lengths with attached ends to eliminate the need to cut and crimp the hose. The SBR cover is resistant to most mineral and synthetic compressor oils. All hoses meet ISO 8030 for fire resistance. Transair flexible hoses are rated for use in compressed air systems only. Parker Hannifin warrants all Transair components to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 10 years from the date of installation. To prevent serious bodily harm or property damage, an anti-whiplash strap (pn: 6698 99 03) needs to be installed along with the flexible hose. Parker Transair suggests installing straps on either side of the connection to prevent the hose from whipping in the event of a blow-off. Transair's modular aluminum pipe delivers superior performance for compressed air, vacuum, and inert gas applications. The aluminum construction prevents corrosion build-up and deterioration of the pipe over time. All Transair aluminum pipes leave the factory with a QUALICOAT certified coating for protection against environmental effects. Transair will not add additional contaminants into a compressed air system. The quality of air leaving the compressor room will remain unchanged in a Transair system. With Transair, there is no need to paint the piping to indicate the media being conveyed. Transair comes in 3 standard colors: Blue for compressed air, Gray for vacuum, and Green for industrial/inert gases. For additional colors, please contact Transair customer service. A Transair system can integrate into existing copper and steel compressed air systems without compromising performance, making it ideal for system upgrades or expansions. The lightweight materials, quick connection technology and minimal required tooling allow a Transair system to be installed 4x faster than traditional methods. All Transair components are 100% recyclable, reusable, and silicone free. Parker warranties all Transair parts for 10 years against manufacturing defects. Markets: Automotive Assembly Food andBeverage Packaging Industrial Plants Aerospace Features/Benefits: Quick connection technology Modular and reusable Corrosion resistant Optimum flow rate 100% Recyclable Faster installation Lower installation costs Immediate pressurization Lightweight 10-year Warranty Applications: Compressed Air Vacuum Industrial/Inert Gases (i.e. Argon, Nitrogen, Carbon Dioxide) Maximum Working Pressure: 1/2" to 4": 232psi (16bar) when the system is operated between -4 to +115 F (-20 to +46.1 C) 6" to 8": 188psi (13 bar) when the system is operated between -4 to +140 F (-20 to + 60 C) Maximum Working Temperature: 185°F when system is operated at 101psi or lower 158°F when the system is operated at 145psi or lower 140°F when the system is operated at 188psi or lower 115°F when the system is operated at 232psi or lower (1/2" to 4" Only)

Transair Fittings for Aluminum Pipe install fast and with minimal tooling. All Transair fittings are designed to securely fit around Transair aluminum pipe, increasing system efficiency and preventing compressed air leaks. Transair fittings come in a variety of styles for easy assembly and layout design of compressed air, vacuum, and industrial/inert gas systems. All Transair components can integrate into existing copper or steel systems, allowing for easy expansion of an existing system. The “full bore” design of Transair fittings, paired with the low coefficient of friction in the aluminum pipe ensures optimal flow throughout the compressed air system. All fittings are 100% recyclable, silicone free, and made from materials with no propagation of flame. All fittings conform to the UL94HB standard. Parker Hannifin warrants all Transair components to be free of defects in material and workmanship for 10 years from the date of installation. Transair 1/2” (16.5mm), 1” (25mm), and 1-1/2” (40mm) fittings use push-to-connect technology. All fittings ship from the factory pre-torqued and marked. To install, just push the pipe into the fitting until the insertion mark meets the end of the fitting. There is no need to tighten the nut of the fitting further. All 1/2” 1”, and 1-1/2”; pipes come from the factory with the insertion depth pre-marked, but if field cutting is required, the insertion depth needs to be marked using a Transair marking tool. Transair 2” (50mm) and 2-1/2” (63mm) fittings use snap ring technology. With a snap ring fitting, a polyamide retaining ring is inserted into 2 holes at the end of the pipe. This ring, along with tightening the fitting nuts with a spanner wrench, prevents the fitting from coming off the pipe. All 2”and 2-1/2” pipes come from the factory with the snap ring holes pre-drilled, but if field cutting is required, the snap rings holes need to be drilled using a Transair Drill Jig. Transair 3” (76mm), 4” (101mm), and 6” (168mm) fittings use clamshell technology. The clamshell fitting has a removable cartridge (seal) that fits over the end of the pipe and is prevented from sliding by the lugs on the end of the pipe. The fitting is then fitted over the lugs and the cartridge and bolted down using a cross pattern to prevent stripping the bolts. All 3” 4”, and 6” pipes come from the factory pre-lugged, but if field cutting is required, the lugs need to be made using a Transair lugging tool and die.
